Godly Hope and Patriotic Change is What We Can Believe in

I almost felt like not writing this month because of the feeling in the pit of my stomach after following our news this past month. It seems like such a critical time that the direction that some folks would have us go really puts us, the American people, our children and grandchildren at such a high risk of losing the America that we and the generations before us have enjoyed; freedom of religion and freedom to prosper. I don't understand the ideology that are against or different from what we have had for generations. I don't understand that way of thinking. I don't know why anybody in their right mind would want to turn our country into socialism. This entitlement mentality, tax and spend, just doesn't make any sense, whatsoever. The thinking that the hard-working people should have to give what they make to people that refuse to work is ludicrous. Thank God for the Tea Party movement and the folks that are rising up to make their voices heard. We, also, need a lot of prayer for Divine intervention because there are definitely some folks that are trying to run our Nation over a cliff. Can you imagine what the folks that have fought for our country the last couple hundred years would think if they saw all of this going on? We are living in some interesting days, that's for sure. I think a good idea would be to get the crazy-thinking folks, have them spend some time out here in the heartland of America and spend some time with some good down-to-earth families and show them what real life is all about. Get their heads screwed on straight. Isn't it amazing that highly educated, very articulate, intelligent people can absolutely not know which way is up. The Bible says wisdom is a precious thing. Wisdom and common sense has worked for a long time. I would rather have an ounce of Godly wisdom over a truckload of education any time; not that a great education isn't good, but it is only as good as the wisdom and common sense behind it. I still have faith that the majority of us American folks know the direction that we need to be going and that we have to go back to our values and principles that have made our Nation great.
